We live in one of the richest countries in the world and thats really the opportunity. We have every ability to improve our financial situation with some determination and perseverance. I think this is what sets the truly successful people apart from the masses - lack of determination and endurance. For most, its just too much discomfort. Notice that I did not say pain. Most of us live like kings and queens compared to many other people in the world and if you read this on a mobile or other electronic device, you are better than many people in our own country. We do not like being uncomfortable and we love our entertainment - and an infinite flow of it. We only have so much time in our lives on a certain day to get things done. Its hard to take on additional responsibilities because they start cutting in what little personal time we can have. I sympathize with single parents or parents with multiple jobs.
Some people have a very negative, predetermined concept of the network marketing business model. Many people still consider it a pyramid program or sometimes they will replace the word system with bluff. Its unfortunate that the industry has had some dings, pews and bruises to its reputation over the years - and rightly so. Many companies probably most offer over prices that can be purchased at discounted price if you become a distributor. Unfortunately, its usually the only motivation to be associated or distributor.
Once you have found a network marketing company that you can really find behind and find others who share your vision and commitment, you can build a team. Once youve done that, you can take advantage of others efforts. This is where many people pump the brakes, close their eyes and cover their ears. Thats true because most peoples experience of network marketing is a negative. Why is this? Im pretty sure thats because the person who drew attention made it in such a way that it made it an unpleasant experience.
Everyone hates the idea of rejection.
It does not feel good but lets dissect it a little more. When you have friends over and you ask them if they want a different drink or fudge something, and they say No, thank you, everything is good, no emotions are hurt and you forget it. Why is it so different when money is involved? I suggest its all in delivery and expectations. Most people face rejection before the other person has a chance to respond more about this later.
The second reason is that nobody wants to convince someone to buy a product or service in the first place. It is therefore important that you choose a company that has a product or service that you believe in 100 percent. I can not emphasize that enough. If you have any doubts about the value of your product or service then you are more than likely convicted from the beginning. If words that come out of a persons mouth do not penetrate those who speak them, people can generally feel it. Even if you are excited and pumped up than in your mind, you tell yourself this person will not be interested. Most people do not even realize that they have an innate ability to determine when someone is congruent or grounded - their words and actions really match their beliefs.
The third reason is that most people are not motivated to be self-employed - and they usually know this about themselves. Its a little harder to do the little things that have to be done when you do not really have anyone to answer yourself. Of course, you can get your upline or business associate call you and try to encourage you to do what you need to do to succeed, but its not the same as a boss. They can not fire you.
All of these challenges can be overcome with the right company and the right education.
One of the most common objections to network marketing opportunities is the highest fee that most companies need. I have mixed feelings about this. Some companies charge 1000 or more for the startup fee and then require some kind of annual renewal beyond that. Others are more reasonable and charge 100- 200 without annual renewal. These are the fees that are so small that no one should really complain about them. Almost every business or job you start will require some investment in advance. If you get a job at many or probably most fast-food restaurants, you would be about as much from purchasing the uniforms and other related expenses. Something else to really consider - how many weeks running for your part-time job would it take to exceed the cost of becoming an independent employee for a particular company.
